Ted Traver, owner and head mechanic, started BPD in December 2020, after building a career as a mechanic over the past 20 years. He continues to build lasting relationships with many vehicle owners in Bandera, TX, by providing quality, affordable service, with excellent communication. His wife, Shannon, runs the business operations, and is often the friendly voice hear on the phone. Ted and Shannon are active in the community and their church, fierce advocates for orphan care and parents to four great kids!

I’m from out of state but was buying a vehicle from a Bendera local. Called Ted at Bendera Performance Diesel and he headed out to the seller within days! He looked it over and gave me a quote to make her road worthy and safe. Not only that but he took the vehicle from the sellers house down to his shop and did the work needed so I could arrive and head off straight away. Ted was polite and quick and very responsive. He even worked with us when plans had to change and got the work done faster then we had talked about! Great people here! 10/10 would recommend!
